  Joseph "Jody" Bailey, Founder, President and C.E.O. of Bailey's B.A.S.H., was born in Charleston and raised in St. Stephen, SC (40 minutes away), where he became a local basketball legend. In 1999, he graduated from Morris College with a degree in Communications which afforded him an opportunity to begin a career in Broadcasting for a local Gospel Radio Station. However, as the new millennium approached, Bailey made a career change to get back to his competitive nature he left after playing College Basketball at Morris College. He embarked on a journey in automotive sales. Bailey started as a "No Experience Salesman", but since that time he has reached new levels in his career. For the past eight years, he has been the "Top" Salesperson within the dealerships he had the pleasure of working for and he is considered to be the most popular & most successful car salesperson in the Low country.
Bailey married his college sweetheart Linda Nesbitt (formerly) from Detroit, MI. They currently reside in Charleston where they are raising their two sons J'Quan and J'Len. During Bailey's self assessment of his life, he knew that there was still work to be done. Also, he learned of all the negative statistics referencing South Carolina, i.e., education, crime, unemployment, homelessness, health & wellness. In addition, Bailey was reminded of his childhood, where his mother would help the homeless, drug abusers, foster children, criminals, and other underserved individuals by building homes and providing jobs...which helped them to become rehabilitated citizens. Bailey decided to follow in his family's tradition of community outreach. It was at this moment that Bailey's B.A.S.H. Foundation was born. The objective of Bailey's B.A.S.H. Foundation is to provide a place of refuge for all Citizens...but "Specialize" in the Care of the Underserved. Bailey envisions a "Rehabilitation & Resource Center" where underserved individuals could receive information, tools, and hands-on experience necessary to be successful, productive citizens in a happy environment filled with Hope. In return, they would be empowered to help someone else along the way. Bailey plans to continue in the direction of his vision by partnering with the celebrity world. Currently, he is planning the "3rd Annual B.A.S.H." that will benefit the construction of the Rehabilitation & Resource Center which will provide infinite opportunities for all individuals throughout South Carolina and the surrounding areas that will serve as and example for other States that are working on Change! Bailey lives by a Motto that will stick with him for life.... "Don't let Anything stop you from being Successful...the Great Ones Overcome All Obstacles!" Furthermore... "For those that don't Believe in the Power of God...Tell me what I can't do,
